Deep Blue

Hope everyone (in the US) had a great Thanksgiving. I went to my brother and sister-in-law's house for Thanksgiving brunch and my poor SIL had to throw away the turkey because their fridge died. We had lamb instead and it was still wonderful (had turkey at another get together that evening, all good). I received some watercolor gouache and decided to play with it, keep things loose and see what the paint could do. I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile it is, how it dries to a velvety matte and that, unlike watercolor, I can work dark to light. I think I'll be playing with gouache a lot more in the future...
